Theo Lương y Trịnh Văn Sỹ, không nên xem nhẹ bệnh quai bị. Quai bị nếu không được điều trị sẽ dẫn tới bị biến chứng thậm chí có thể vô sinh sau này. Nguyên tắc điều trị theo Đông y: chống viêm, trừ thấp, thanh nhiệt, nâng đỡ thể trạng. Đông y xếp bệnh quai bị vào loại “ôn dịch”.
Triệu chứng thường xảy ra: Bé bị sốt, ăn ít. Trẻ sốt từ 1 – 3 ngày, nhiệt độ dao động từ 39-3905. Đến ngày thứ hai hoặc ngày thứ ba thấy đau ở góc hàm, sưng, cứng, da hơi đỏ và bóng. Đến lúc này đã biết chắc chắn là trẻ bị quai bị. Ở nhà trẻ vì có đông các cháu, khi phát hiện có quai bị, các cô giáo cần thông báo ngay cho phụ huynh và kịp thời cách ly những cháu đã bị bệnh vì bệnh này dễ lây qua đường hô hấp, phòng bệnh và điều trị cần được khẩn trương tiến hành.
Để điều trị và ngăn ngừa biến chứng, Đông y có những phương thuốc hữu hiệu như sau:
Bài 1: Quả ké 30g (sao vàng, tán mịn), quả vải 40g (sao vàng, tán mịn), mỡ lợn (lượng vừa đủ). mỡ lợn trộn đều với quả ké và quả vải để thành hỗn hợp vừa dẻo vừa dính. Dùng thuốc đó bôi vào chỗ quai bị, lấy miếng giấy bản dán lên trên. Ngày thay thuốc 2 lần, tối 1 lần.
Công dụng: Tiêu viêm, tán huyết, giảm đau, hóa thấp.
Bài 2: Lá bồ công anh, lá đinh lăng mỗi thứ 24g, hai thứ đem rửa sạch giã mịn. Bạch chỉ bắc 10g (tán ra bột mịn). Các thứ trên trộn đều rồi đắp vào chỗ quai bị, dùng băng dính cố định lại. Ngày thay thuốc 2 lần, tối đắp 1 lần.
Công dụng: tán huyết, thông mạch, chống viêm
Khi gặp bệnh này, trong dân gian cũng có những bài thuốc điều trị rất hay, xin được giới thiệu dưới đây:
– Con rết phơi khô, sao giòn, tán bột. Lấy bột này trộn chung với dầu vừng rồi bôi vào vùng bị quai bị. Lấy miếng giấy bản dán lên trên.
– Lá vòi voi, lá gấc. Hai thứ giã nhỏ mịn, đắp tại chỗ, dùng băng dính cố định lại. Ngày thay thuốc 2 lần, tối 1 lần.
– Mẫu lệ chế (tán bột) 30g, mo nang đốt tồn tính (tán bột) 30g. Lấy một lượng mật ong vừa đủ, trộn hai thứ bột trên thành một hỗn hợp như hồ dẻo, dùng đắp vào chỗ quai bị, dùng miếng giấy bản dán lên trên. Ngày thay thuốc 2 lần, tối 1 lần.
Đối với quai bị biến chứng: Tinh hoàn sưng to đau nhức, cơ thể mệt mỏi, da xanh. (Những trường hợp như thế là đã bị viêm tinh hoàn, nếu nặng sẽ dẫn đến vô sinh về sau này). Cần điều trị tích cực bằng những phương thuốc sau:
– Bạch truật 10g, hạt vải 30g, bạch linh 6g, thổ linh 10g, xa tiền 10g, đỗ trọng 5g, trần bì 10g, cam thảo 6g. Sắc uống ngày 1 thang.
– Quả ké (sao vàng) 10g, nam tục đoạn 10g, lệ chi hạch 10g, vỏ cây gạo 10g, sài hồ 8g, thanh bì 8g, xa tiền 8g, hoài sơn 8g, liên nhục 8g. Sắc uống ngày 1 thang.
